Hope Governor Ajimobi , Oyo state will not shatter this goodwill ?
Though some of the roads being constructed and urban renewal schemes which he commenced are almost at completion level but works have stopped at some despite the fact that we are in the dry season .
Governor Ajimobi may not have been able to put smiles on the faces of road users in Apata - Benbo Village and Orita Challenge and Odo- Ona Elewe - Oleyo Villages but Governor definitely has invested in a critical sector of the state .
This is the first time I am having a sitting Governor who failed to pay December salary of the teachers and there has been no acidic vituperation or rain of curses from the distinguished teachers !
I learnt authoritatively that the Teachers in Oyo state have not received their December Salary and they are not making noise !
Why this abnormality ? .
Some of the teachers who I interacted with told me " Mr Alarinkaa , give it to Governor Abiola Ajimobi , He is a Governor who is in love with the Teachers . We have never had it so good . Apart from paying us regularly and ensuring prompt promotion , at least we the teachers have experienced rapid promotion under him . He has a unique method of paying us during the Yuletide . He will pay salary before the end of December and by the time we are supposing to be crying over paucity of fund at the beginning of the New Year ,he will pay bonus We cannot just because the allocation is not forthcoming easily erase this from our memories and be shouting ourselves to heaven "
I quickly closed the discussion hoping that Governor Ajimobi will not run this emotional bank account aground before it is reloaded .
