MANY people who dwell and domicile in urban areas, metropolis and  cities where there are many shades and brands of hotels, guest houses, inns and motels always have the mindset that there could not be so good  hotels  or places where good services could be bought in the hinterland.
This category of people always entertain the fear of where they will sleep or get good service as related to hospitality whenever they have engagement outside their plush cities.
And one should not blame them. Some of these people are not entertaining this fear out of mischief or wishful thinking, but genuinely borne out of experience which they might have gone through in one or several adventures to the hinterland for one or two reasons.
Hence, they most of the time arrived at a dead end conclusion that “no better hotel elsewhere than Lagos”
But, this is not so. As there are  better and sophisticated hotels located in the hinterland which can  give Lagos or Abuja hotels’ a run for their money in terms of concept, aesthetics, customers’ relations, facilities and services.
And candidly speaking, any one going to Ondo State should not entertain fear of where to stay or eat good food. This is due to the ambience of peace facilitated by the present government in the state, the hospitality sector is having a boom and thriving  giving room to the sprouting of first class hotels and  hospitality centres.
In fact, great has been the effect of the socio – economic policy of Governor Olusegun Mimiko that even some hotels which have petered out of business are re –engineered for excellent service never witnessed before.
In Ondo town, Sunny Sky is one of the hotels which have been retuned, refined and retrofitted for service to humanity and tourist per excellence.
It is one hotel in the state where customers are not only treated as if they are at home, but where they have access to facilities and services which are not readily available at home.
The restaurant is serviced by chef who is not only an expert in local cuisine, but very adroit in intercontinental foods and meals bearing in mind the cosmopolitan status of Ondo town, its indigenes and visitors.
The 34 rooms are of exceptional tending and fixtures which are laced with sophistication of modern trend in hotel industry with bias for posh and beauty.
The bar is kitted with assorted drinks and beverages with the sole aim of letting customers have access to choices irrespective of their taste and passion.
At Sunny Sky, electricity supply is 24 hours as there are four generators planted to ensure that customers experience no black – out from power source. This service sequesters the hotel from others which never put on generators for their customers during the day whenever PHCN cut off supply of power.
And for socials and events, Sunny Sky has a hall which can accommodate 150 to 200 guests according to sitting arrangement and style. The hall has its separate power generating set to ensure smooth packaging of ceremony and better service for the patrons.
According to Oyekanmi Abiodun “Our business at Sunny Sky Hotel is to ensure that we satisfy the customers beyond their expectations. Anyone who leaves his house for a hotel is definitely looking for something extra. This is where we are most competent. Here at Sunny Sky, we make sure that the extra service needed in terms of accommodation, foods, drinks and customers’ relation are provided in not only extra but what we called Extra Extra Service (XXS ). Just make a date with us and testify to this fact that in Ondo town, no hotel does it better.”
