Something is wrong with Fayose - Kwankwaso

Kwankwaso tackles Fayose over comments on Buhari
 16.Mar.2015  DISQUS_COMMENTS   Bola Badmus - Lagos
KANO State governor, Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, in Lagos, on Sunday, said his Ekiti State counterpart, Mr Ayodele Fayose, is obsessed with Major-General Muhammadu Buhari and needed to be cured of it.
The governor said this when he led Hausa traditional leaders in Lagos and other South-West states to pay a solidarity visit to the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, at his Bourdillon, Ikoyi residence.
Kwankwaso was speaking against the background of incessant attacks on the APC presidential candidate, Major-General Buhari, by Fayose and the allegation by the Ekiti governor that he and former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar, were on their way back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Kano governor said that he felt embarrassed that he was a governor anytime he listened to Fayose, adding that “these days when I look at him, I think something is wrong with him.
“When you see him, tell him to learn how to respect elders. What he said about Major-General Buhari; though I’m not a doctor, I’ve observed Major-General Buhari since the primaries. He went to 35 of the 36 states. Buhari is even healthier than President Goodluck Jonathan.
“Let me advise my colleague against these utterances, because it can undermine his integrity as governor. He has been abusing people, not only leaders, but northerners. Though we know he is doing it on behalf of his leaders, he is free to continue to abuse us, but the day of reckoning is at hand.”
