TRANSFORMING IKOGOSI  IS A MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT-COMMISSIONER
  
Ekiti State Commissioner for Culture, Arts and Tourism, Chief Ronke Okusanya has said that the transformation of the Ikogosi warm springinto a world class tourist centre is one of the achievements of the
present administration that should make the people of the state proud.
    Speaking at the resort while playing host to the Ekiti State House of Assembly Committee on Culture, Arts and Tourism, Chief Okusanya reiterated the resolve of the state government to turn the state to
the most attractive destination of choice for tourists and investors.
    The Chairperson of the House Committee, Hon. Olubunmi Oriniowo who noted that the visit of the committee was in fulfilment of its oversight functions, expressed delight at the facilities at the resort
which she described as a tremendous improvement.

   She promised that the committee would address and proffer lasting solution to the challenges of irregular power supply and also ensure adequate security at the resort.
    The Deputy Speaker, Hon. Adetunji Orisalade who is a member of the committee noted that Ekiti is naturally endowed, stressing the need for the natural resources to be properly tapped.
    He added that the right crop of people are currently running the affairs of the state as evident in the massive transformation at the resort.
    Another committee member, Hon. Folorunso Ogundele described the level of development at the resort as fantastic and encouraging.
    In his response, the Managing Director of the Resort, Mr. Muyiwa Ogunmilade said the vision of the present administration is to upgrade the resort to the optimum standard.
    Noting that test running operations had commenced since March this year, Ogunmilade assured that full operation would commence in October.
