This boy called Kanu Nnamdi is mad ! by Wale Ojo Lanre
Yes , kanu Nnamdi
Trying to make my Igbo people suya of war
I don't blame him
He never witnessed the civil war
I have a lot of friends in Igbo land
I do not want to weep over them
I do not want to empathize sorrowfully with them
Kanu is a mad warmonger
He is a speck
Who can do but nothing
There are reasonable way of registering a mission
I pity my Igbo friends
I pity Abia state
We should tell whoever has the sense
Kanu should back down
And stop from being stupid
He should stop leading my igbo people
To commit murder
Kanu should stop being mad

Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaigns Worry Me By Joe Igbokwe.

Igbo Ethnic Bigotry And Hate Campaigns Worry Me By Joe Igbokwe.
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Ever since President Buhari won the 2015 Presidential elections he was destined to win having labored in 2003, 2007, 2011 and then 2015 a very vast preponderance of South South and South East indigenes have descended on the President, pouring invectives, calling him names, abusing his person and his exalted office, preaching hate, and ethnic divisions. I have followed this dangerous trend over a year now, and it is not abetting. It is growing like wild fire everyday. In recent times the South-South people whose son lost the election have moved on except the criminal avengers who are fighting for their pockets only and destroying their environment.
I have seen spirited and genuine efforts being made by the leaders of South-South to bring peace to the Niger Delta, and I heartily commend them for this. It is in their own interest. But in the South East, our people have refused to move on. In the diaspora, in Nigeria, in schools, in the markets, on the streets, in Churches, in Town Meetings etc Igbo have refused to move on. Every move the President makes to rebuild and reposition the country is abused, castigated and ethnic meaning read into it. The dangerous trend has become so embarrassing that one is compelled to speak out. While leaders of South-South have made interventions to make way for harmony and peaceful co-existence, Igbo leaders have maintained a deafening silence but this silence is no longer golden. Ethnic bigotry and hate speeches our people both at home and abroad dish out everyday endanger our people living in all parts of Nigeria. President Buhari belongs to a section of Nigeria and must not run away with the thinking that his people will be happy and clap for us when we malign and abuse one of their own.
No ethnic group in Nigeria moves and settles in any part of the country like the Igbo. They settle and do business in almost every part of the country, and when we throw stones to other Nigerians, we endanger their lives and their businesses. The worst sets of Igbo guilty of this dangerous trend are those living outside the country. While some of them are engaged in meaningful employment, many of them are unemployed. They have become economic refugees and cultural savages. They have formed an association of hate preachers and wailing bigots. They have through actions and deeds created millions of enemies for Ndigbo in Nigeria while they waste their precious gift of time abroad doing nothing.
Last week the Vice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was in Afe Babalola University Ekiti State as Guest Speaker during the University’s Convocation ceremony. In the cause of his speech, he told his capacity audience the Niger Delta Avengers are not freedom fighters but those fighting for their pockets only. I saw the story on facebook and other sites on the internet. The one on Facebook caught my attention because of nearly 400 reactions as at the time I read it. I took mental note of the reactions and the names attached to it. 95% are Igbo names and they abused and called the Vice President unprintable names for speaking the truth. This is a shame. Ignorance should not be a virtue. Ignorance is a disease. Foolishness is a tragedy. This is ignorance stupid. This is mental darkness. A roaring lion kills no game. It is only a river that wants to get dried up that forgets its source. A Chinese proverb tells me that “He who blames others has a long way to go on his journey. He who blames himself is half way there. He who blames no one has arrived.”
Now, it is time for the Igbo to move on and join other Nigerians to begin the process of rebuilding Nigeria. I want Igbo Governors, elected Senators, elder statesmen, House of Reps Members, House of Assembly members, political leaders, traditional rulers, Igbo intellectuals, professionals, market leaders, town union leaders, village heads, etc. to rise up to defend the integrity and honor of Igbo race. Are these ignorant ones who preach hate speaking for us? Are they representing us? Are they our brightest and bests? Are those asking for Biafra and using it as business venture speaking for all of us? Have we taken a look at the situation in South Sudan today? Shall we continue to sleep pretending that all is well? Can we be honest enough to see the real danger ahead? For how long will our leaders continue to be silent on these weighty issues? Can elders continue to sleep while the kids wear snakes as necklaces? Can the young teach tradition to the old? Who will bell the cat in Igboland? Who will call the ignorant kids to order?
Did the Yoruba go to war when June 12 1993 Presidential Election won by their illustrious son Chief MKO Abiola was annulled on June 23rd 1993 on a sheet of paper by IBB? Did Yoruba go to war when Abiola’s wife Alhaja Kudirat Abiola was murdered in Lagos in the morning of Jun 4 1996? Did Yoruba go to war when the winner of that historic election was poisoned on July 7 1998? Did Yoruba go to war when those who killed Abiola imposed Obasanjo on them as President in 1999? Did Yoruba accept Chief Ernest Shonekan when IBB made him to head the interim government in 1993? Yoruba rejected OBJ and Shonekan because this unique race has never been slaves to public office and yet they have remained number one in Nigeria in almost everything. This is wisdom and strategic thinking at work.
Those of us who have lived in Yoruba land for years should not only learn how to wear Aso Ebi, eat Ewedu soup or dance Owambe, music.
We must have also learned other unique things from them like sharing property to both male and female children, religious tolerance, ethnic tolerance, transferring legacies from generation to generation. Do you know that APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s wife is a Christian? Do you know that former Governor Fashola’s wife is a Christian? We can learn a lot from Yoruba. Yoruba too can learn from Igbo in areas of thinking home, business enterprise, self-help, apprenticeship, etc.
A Yoruba woman, a Pastor Mrs. Eunice Olawale Elisha of the Redeemed Christian Church of God old NEPA Road Phase 4 Kubwa, Abuja was killed by unknown persons on Saturday morning of July 9, 2016, while preaching the gospel around 5.30am. I have followed the reactions on the internet and Yoruba do not behave like the Igbo. They have been speaking but not preaching hate. They have called for the culprits to be fished out, prosecuted and punished. If Mrs. Eunice Elisha had been an Igbo hell would have been let loose. There would have been abuses and abuses. But Yoruba are not Igbo. This is civilization. This is strategic thinking. I hope our people can learn from this. Civility is not a sign of weakness.
To have ears is not to listen, to listen is not to hear, to hear is not to understand, to understand is not to put to practice. I know that writing this may not get me many friends among the Igbo, but it always gets me the right ones.
Case Rested!
Joe Igbokwe
Lagos.

Motherland Beckons launches Diaspora Nigeria Economic Recovery and Growth Plan

Nigerian Tribune
President Motherland Beckons, Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye (third left), Director General, Centre for Black Arts and African Civilization, Sir Ferdinand Anikwe (third right), Prince Adekunle Adeyemo and others.
Motherland Beckons on Monday, May 1, 2017 launched the Diaspora Nigeria Economic Recovery & Growth Plan- DNERGP at its headquarters, La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Lekki, Lagos. DNERGP is a tourism and creative arts initiative to revive the Nigeria economy and entrench it on the part of sustainable growth.
This was done at a quiet ceremony by a symbolic joint proclamation by the President of Motherland Beckons, H.E. Otunba (Dr) Wanle Akinboboye and the Director General of Centre for Black & African Arts & Civilisation (CBAAC), Sir Ferdinand Anikwe.
Otunba Akinboboye at the inauguration unveiled the leisure and entertainment plan and the business plan of the initiative, under the former, Nigerians in Diaspora and their friends with an investment of one thousand dollars per individual would be entitled to three days and two nights of first class entertainment, dance, drama, poetry, authentic African music, cuisines and night clubbing. He espoused further that in recognition of the diversity of Nigeria, Motherland Beckons has created six tourism destinations namely: Destination Abuja, Destination Cross River, Destination Kano/Kaduna; Destination Enugu and Destination South West.
A visiting Diaspora is entitled to see the best of Nigeria in each of these destinations and will be treated to a hospitable welcome by the host communities in appreciation of the Diasporas and their friends. He further stressed that a visiting Diaspora most likely spend between two to four weeks, thereby resulting into additional expenditure of about $4,000 on travels, family  and sundry expenses, etc.
However, according to Otunba Akinboboye, from a projection of about one million Diasporans and  their one million friends visiting Nigeria in the first operational year, hence resulting in an injection of $2 billion into the Nigerian economy, a modest 10 percent of these two million visitors would be interested  in the business plan. Motherland Beckons in December 2016 he said signed a trade agreement with MUSIAD. MUSIAD is the largest business conglomerate in the world with about 50,000 businesses and 11,000 businessmen and CEOs in 175 locations spread around the world.
Nigerians in Diaspora who are fond of complaining of not knowing what business to invest in at home now have the opportunity to become distributors and part owners of viable business vendors with good return on investment with the Motherland Beckons/MUSIAD agreement.
Full blown production of products ranging from baby diapers, textiles, cars & industrial machinery spare parts, etc. would commence after an initial test run of three years of marketing and familiarisation of these products with the huge Nigerian market. Hence, a minimum investment of $10,000 by each of the Diasporans would translate to an injection of $20 billion into the Nigerian economy, resulting in prosperity and progress for the people.
However, for the production of these products, Motherland Beckons would create a Diaspora Industrial Zone (DIZ) and he added that the Ooni of Ile Ife, Oba Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi has donated 2,000 hectares of industrial land for this purpose in his domain.
Dr Anikwe in his remarks commended Otunba Akinboboye for his immensurable contribution to tourism, culture and creative arts in Nigeria and in Africa, he also described DNERGP as a quiet revolution and a concerted creative effort at looking for a simple solution to the economic recession in Nigeria. He proclaimed the endorsement of CBAAC on DNERGP and pledged to the work assiduously towards the success of this remarkable private sector initiative which he calls a win-win situation for the Diaspora and the great people of Nigeria.

Flee from touts–Oyo Immigration Comptroller warns public

The Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Oyo State, Mrs Victoria Isang has called on members of the public to flee from touts who parade themselves as ‘agents or contacts’ of the Oyo State Immigration Service.
Mrs Isang who spoke exclusively with the Tribune Travel and Tourism Magazine on the background of dearth of passport  booklets  in the command revealed that the scarcity of booklets was  not a deliberate act of the Immigration Service rather it was  the result of a major  technical hitch in central processing unit which has been tackled and rectified .
She called on the members of the public nationwide not to patronise touts or those who she learnt called themselves “immigration contact person” adding that the Nigeria Immigration Service has never and would never appoint anybody or person to be its agents neither its contact person when it comes to passport and travelling documents processing. “So flee from these impostors,” “she counselled
Mrs Isang called on the public to always be conscious of the expiry date on their passport and to always activate the procurement of a virgin passport or renewal of an existing one weeks and months before it is “urgently needed” so as not to be under the pressure of ‘urgent procurement ‘which lead many people to fall for touts who usually promise what they cannot deliver thus extorting them.
She assured members of the public of prompt service and urged them to go through the due process in obtaining travelling documents and national passport.
Mrs Isang said whatever challenges being encountered at obtaining the international passport was a matter of fleeting illusion which would soon be over.
She assured the public of the dedication of the members of Oyo Immigration Service to always do their best in ensuring efficient service and delivery.
Mrs Isang informed “we have issued over 14000 booklets in the last three months in Oyo State. We  are working hard to clear all backlog of requests  as the passport control unit is burning the night candle of ensuring that all request are made available promptly and timely. She further said that “we are not resting on our oars and we shall not. We are employed to serve the nation and the public. We cannot do otherwise. Be assured of this”.

Racial hate and President Donald Trump By Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye

Racial hate and President Donald Trump By Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye
No two people have the same level of intelligence yet every level is a necessity for human development, growth, and continuity.
A dog cannot attain the size of a horse, if a horse were to attain the size of an elephant it would lose the magnificent glory of its speed
everything has its place and level, and every level is a platform created not only for the people of today but also for the people of tomorrow.
The level of racial intelligence is inconsequential to the true essence of life https://www.facebook.com/waleojolanre1/videos/10154900544440782/
