Weeks after the discovery of mermaid by a fish monger in
Ibadan another mysterious event occurred Saturday night as Arabic world which
was translated by Islamic cleric to “Allahu” appeared on a wall of a building
at Alemuloke area of Sango Ibadan
Alarinka Agbaye during the visit to the venue last night met hundreds of people and was informed that since the incident happened, Alemuloke street has become a Mecca
of sort as people have been trooping to the venue of the incident to see the mysterious
writing on the wall .
Many people met at the
site were disappointed to see
that stuff has been scrubbed off from the wall by the
owner of the house who was said to be a Christian and a retired police officer
One of the resident
of the area who simply identified himself as while speaking with Alarinka at
the scene of the incident said “ on Saturday an alarm was raised in the area that the Arabic word
mysteriously appeared on the plastered wall
of Baba Olopa’s house and we all rushed out to check what it was and
we found and Arabic world which was translated to mean Allah, the name of God
on the wall”
He said further that “ it was like a mystery to us because we all know Baba
Olopa to be a Christian who is less expected to have such thing on his wall but
some Islamic scholar who are nearby
explained that it was God who was trying to reveal himself either to the owner of the house or people around
, adding when people began to troop in to watch a woman from Baba’s wife came
out to scrub it off the wall, the scrubbing was so thick the encryption didn’t’ t go until the cement
plaster of part of the fence was removed” . While they are trying to remove the
first one another one appeared on the other side of the wall”, he said
Alarinka Agbaye also gathered that neighbourhood woke up to see
sea of head who came around to see but took the intervention of the
police men to send people away but also left when they realise that they can’t
stop people from coming to see the mysterious happening
Meanwhile, the owner
of the house, a Christian, who was not available as at press time was said to
have denied the incident saying that it was a ploy by his neighbour who are Islam
worshippers to draw people’s attention to their God but they have failed because his house is
being guided by Jesus.
