Nigeria, Malawi tie 'll be tough, but Eagles 'll prevail- Ogunjobi

Former  Secretary general of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Chief Taiwo  Ogunjobi believes the 2014 qualifier final group game between Nigeria and Malawi would be tough, but tipped the Super Eagles for victory over the Flames.

Speaking ahead of the encounter billed for September 7 in  Calabar, the Osun State Football Association boss opined that the Nigerian side will not find the Malawians easy, conttary to the believe of some soccer followers. Skippo, as he is fondly called stated that the match being a decider would bring out the best in both sides, concluding however, that experience will see the Nigerians through.

'''It  is not going to be an easy match. The Malawians believe that they can upset Nigeria and that is what would be at the back of their minds, so we must not expect them to fall like pack of cards.
''This is a World Cup qualifier, every country wants to be at the World Cup Malawi,''' added the Osun state born soccer administrator.

He,  however, expressed confidence in the Stephen Keshi tutored lads to rise up to the ocassion and take the Flames to the cleaners come September 7.
''Even though I know it is going to be tough, I am cocksure Nigeria will carry the day based on our pedigree and the experience of our players.'' On the Super Eagles' victory over Bafana Bafana of South Africa in last Wednesday's Mandela Challenge played in Durban, the

Chairman of Prime FC of Osogbo praised the team, saying that the boys   not disappoint him.
''I expected them to win the encounter because Nigeria and South Africa are not in the same level. That victory
was a confirmation of superiority,'' said Ogunjobi.
