Erelu Bisi Fayemi is a big disappointment By Wale Ojo Lanre

Erelu Bisi Fayemi is a big disappointment
By
Wale Ojo Lanre
Please ladies and gentlemen when next you are voting for a candidate kindly listen to the voice of wise good people who can accurately predict what should be expected
And vote for that fellow whose entity as a family man will add value to the state and the society
You see, some of us are blessed with rare ability to see, perceive and predict who will be what by the time they are in the saddle
Maybe because of age, experience, exposure and probably education
But regrettably, sometimes our expectations and predictions are not always correct
For some of those who we believe so much in has ended up disappointing us
The essence of this is for one not to entertain any measure of regret after the election or cause to be angry with whoever your vote has been placed in the saddle
For me, I have cause to be angry with some of the actions of those who I have wholeheartedly
supported and risked my integrity for
For instance, I am boiling and terribly angry with Erelu Bisi Fayemi
Of course, I know she is the wife of Dr Kayode Fayemi, the brilliant and erudite war scholar, the Governor of Ekiti State
Are you telling me that I have no right to be angry with her?
Get off my tread
I repeat that I am utterly angry with her
And I don't care a hoot if you are not happy with me in this
Of course, I am not billed to live up to your expectation
This lady who rocks the bed of Ekiti state is not my personality at all
She has disappointed me beyond my imagination
You all can testify to how I carried the affairs of this family on my head when they were contesting
You know how my personality was massacred just because I believed in the vision of Dr Kayode Fayemi
You all know how
And you read all manners of the sordid posts against me
And now you are telling me not to express my disappointment in this lady, the wife of Dr Kayode Fayemi ?
You know, no one can gag me
I will say it the way I see it
Should I not be angry when Erelu has started to show us how a first lady should behave?
This woman is a great disappointment
For when I was working and doing all the fight for them
My expectation was that after being sworn in
Erelu Fayemi will start to behave like a typical first lady of her generation with the realization that this tenure is the last they will be having as the First family of the state.
But, she disappointed me as soon as she entered into the statehouse, another spirit took possession of her
I eagerly expected a Royale Erelu, who will be stupidly arrogant, full of herself, greedy and ultra overbearing
Behold, this lady who I fought for her husband's emergence as the Governor of Ekiti state disappointed me by displaying an enviable behavioural pattern which plays down the arrogance of power and elevates the virtue of humility in glory
This lady who I believe will make her second coming more socially loud by showcasing that she is truly Bisi Omo logbalogba has deplored her thoroughbred background to reject an appellation which has no bearing to her person either in deed or act by not letting folie de grandeur , stupidity of greatness to take over her robust sense of service to the people
And you expected me not to be angry?
And when I was working for their success at the poll, i never expected this lady to have milk of kindness flowing in her veins. I was expecting her to be wicked and a without compassion.
i expected a lady of no mercy. Yes .
But she has been showcasing and displaying a rare gift of affectionate compassion, large heartedness and an agrarian will to help those in a dire situation
This is not why I worked for to be the first lady of the state
What is her concern in helping anybody out of dire?
Is that one of the reasons which I voted for them?
She recently added salt to my injury when out of being compassionate or you called it harbouring milk of kindness humbly volunteered and rescued the abortion of a dream of a 500 level orphan medical student of Ekiti State University who was about withdrawing from the course because she cannot pay the school fees!
The lady in question is the daughter of the late Ologunde, the man who composed Ekiti Anthem and whose mother had passed away after a minor battle with liver cancer
It is the daughter of such a family that has not contributed anything to Ekiti state that Erelu Fayemi is spending her money to salvage the education of their daughter.
Honestly, this lady has disappointed me gravely. I am not happy with her
I regretted the day I decided to work energetically for her husband and her.
I was expecting a brash, arrogant, proud and overbearing. power flexing, first lady not a compassionate and affectionate brilliant and highly responsible and respectful lady.
I was expecting an Erelu Bisi omologbagba, not this kind Erelu Bisi Oya ayiye.
......and if you are in my class of thought, you need admission at Aro Mental Hospital Abeokuta.
Good morning.
I am in Usi , come and give me igbaju oloyi

Pastor kumuyi and his cockroach-infested coat. Is that one a Pastor? By Wale Ojo Lanre

Pastor kumuyi and his cockroach-infested coat. Is that one a Pastor?
By
Wale Ojo Lanre
Please I just ask a question
And if you are a man of God
And a lover of Jesus Christ
Even if you sincerely belong to the Deeper Life Church
You don't have to frown your face at this article
Or see me as a devil incarnate from Usi Ekiti
So
Please spare me your ' God punish you for your sacrilegious and degrading devil inspired a question or your Holy Ghost fire me ' stand
I just want you to know that
I am not a member of the Redeem Church of God
I don't belong to the Mountain of Fire Ministry
Neither do I belong to the Church of the rich man of Ota
I share no affiliation with Ile kewu graduate now Pastor Bakare
And I don't fancy the Jerry curl funky group of the Lord under Kris Okotie
I am a Catholic by both and by inclination
So nobody or group or sect is sponsoring this attack of mine against the person of Pastor Kumuyi
And I don't know when asking the question has become a sin against the man of God?
So , let your mind rest in peace or if you are not satisfied, it can blow into pieces.
Really let us say the fact
Let's us remain objective in this matter
And ask the question again
Look, is Pastor Kumuyi a Pastor or man of God ?
For me, I don't think so
Let us start straight away
Get a picture of Pastor Kumuyi
First, look at his hair
You will notice that the man is so stingy that he can only manage to wash his hair with water leaving it so natural without spending heavy amount of the Church's money in nurturing, tending and styling the hair to distract the eyes and hearts of the worshippers from the words being preached to the hair of the Pastor
Can you see his coat? Somebody described it as a cockroach infested cost. Does his coat look like a Pastor"s suit? It is from him that I know that there is a difference between a coat and a suit.
And you called him a Pastor when he can not deck himself in designer's latest brand but goes about in suit cut by one of his church members who must have learnt the trade from the late Pa  Noble, the USI Ekiti born first Ekiti man trained to be a professional tailor.
Look at his shoes, his attitude to the coat fashioned his attitude to shoe, a Pastor who shoes are countable and within the digit is that a Pastor ?
Pastors are known, recognised , cherished , adored , awed and respected by the number of aircraft they have on the tarmac or legions of exotic cars in their garages. God bless my Pastor Jerry curl singer. Are those not good pastors?
Excuse me, do you think Kumuyi is a Pastor indeed for refusing to buy a plane but rather built a first-class hospital where members of his church and public have access to free medical services? And you called him a Pastor?
To me, Pastor Kumuyi is not it at all.
I remember the day I mistakenly joined the Bamideles of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti for a marriage ceremony in his church in Ado.
You will not believe me, I came back home with the loads of naira which I wanted to drop at the church thinking that Deeper would be used and utilized the marriage ceremony to farm people off their pockets on different types of Thanksgiving offerings and money for this and that
And you think Pastor Kumuyi is a Pastor when he refused to use the church money to build a University which majority of his members will not have access to
And surprising, it is this church of Pastor Kumuyi which has no culture of spiritually forcing and luring members to donate money that has also find it very easy to construct a bridge for the use of the general public in Lagos
And tell me now, without any bias, is Pastor Kumuyi a man of God or god of men?

Mamora escaped death on Lagos waterways

Mamora escaped death on Lagos waterways

November 4, 2018,
Waterways
THE Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Sen Olorunibe Mamora, last Tuesday escaped death on Lagos inland waterways by whiskers when a floating log of wood hit the boat carrying him and his entourage when he came to inspect the Lagos
facilities of the agency.
According to a staff of the agency who begged not to have his name in print, “It was a close shave with death as the log of wood, which was floating underwater, hit our boat which the MD was also on board.
“The incident occurred shortly, after inspecting the NIWA CMS office facility, Apapa, Ijora, Oyingbo jetties and the boat was heading towards Osborne foreshore to also inspect Texas connection ferries.
“By the time we got to Texas jetty, water was already tricking in into the boat. I was already praying inside because I am still taking my swimming lessons.
After inspecting Texas connection ferry terminal, the NIWA team then called for a change of boat to continue with the facility tour of other jetties across the State, as water inside the boat was already disturbing,” Our source revealed.
Confirming the near mishap, the Technical Adviser to the NIWA MD, Engr. Emmanuel Ilori said the wreck was an underwater wreck that was under the water.
He said that the present management of the authority is seriously concerned about safety and security in the nation’s inland waterways.
In the words of Ilori: “Safety and security of inland waterways is the priority of the present management of NIWA. it is not the only issue of wrecks removal, but causes of the wreck, and that is what we will be looking at fundamentally. So, to prevent boat mishap on the inland waterways and to be sure that when wrecks are removed they are not dumped into another place where it will become another hazard.”
Ilori who is also the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Shipowners Association (NISA) said the authority would also survey under the water and place danger signs on the area where there are wrecks.
“What we are looking at is to survey the wrecks. It is not only wrecks that we see on the surface alone because we also have wrecks under the water and these are underwater issues. That is why we say when people remove wrecks,  we want to understand how they will dispose off the wrecks so it won’t cause another hazard elsewhere.
“Don’t forget that the boat the MD was inside going over the wreck, thereby unsettling the boat. The primary thing is to survey the water and identify whatever it is so that we ask boat operators to avoid the area. Wrecks removal is not the immediate solution but to identify where the wrecks are and begin to remove them and know how to dispose.  Also,  identify where the wrecks are and mark them so that people are aware of where the danger lies and avoid it.”
On the entourage of the MD were the Area Manager, Lagos office of NIWA, Muazu Sambo, the one-time acting Managing Director, NIWA, Barr Danladi Ibrahim, Journalists, and several others who joined the MD in the tour of facilities of the authority.
Recall that over the years, there have been calls for the removal of wrecks on the inland waterways which contributes to mishaps on the waterways.
In August 2018, a boat travelling from CMS to Ikorodu had capsized, claiming five lives.
The August event came two months after a May 25 incident in which 24 passengers escaped death when two boats collided and capsized in the Ojo area of the state. The accident occurred at 7:45 pm close to the Ojo Terminal.
Twelve passengers were not as lucky on August 20, 2017. They all died in another boat accident in the Ilashe area of
the state. It was gathered that the boat capsized shortly after leaving an unauthorised jetty.
Similarly, a police sergeant, Mary Adesoba, attached to the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, lost her life on October 10, 2017, after a boat capsized on the Third Mainland Bridge waterways.
The boat was en route to Ebute-Ero from Ikorodu when the mishap happened around 10 am when it hit a submerged object.
The boat that claimed Adesoba, was conveying 21 passengers. Other passengers were rescued by the Marine Police.
Also, on May 25, 2016, a woman died after a commercial boat en route to Victoria Island, Lagos, from Ikorodu ran into a log of wood and capsized. Twenty-seven other passengers on board the speedboat escaped death with varying degrees of injuries.- Nigerian Tribune

Two-year-old Maya Hwang wore the epic costume which was designed by her mother, Krystel

A toddler has won the year's best Halloween costume - with the creepiest costume ever.
Two-year-old Maya Hwang wore the epic costume which was designed by her mother, Krystel.
The stay-at-home mum spent two days making the costume, which makes it look like the child is carrying her own severed head.
The floral dress has an opening in the chest which allows Maya's head to poke through.
An extension on the back of the dress creates the appearance of a ghoul whose head has been chopped off.
Older sister Charlie, aged six, then walks alongside her while holding a knife - and of course an empty pumpkin basket to collect trick-or-treat gifts.
Little Maya won a competition at a school in Paraaaque City, Philippines, for the best costume.

One side effect of the kit is that men are likely to grow man boobs

Dads may soon be able to breastfeed their newborn babies with first ever 'chestfeeding kit'

A London university student believes they've come up with a way for dads to breastfeed their baby
When it comes to having babies, it's the woman who has to do all the hard work.
She's got to grow a human inside her for nine months, push the infant out of her body and then make milk to nourish the little one.                                                                  All while her partner watches.
But soon there may be a new way for the man to get more involved in the process and it's all down to a kit created by a university student from London.
Marie-Claire Springham, a product design student at Central Saint Martin's, is in the process of making a 'chestfeeding kit'.
The idea behind the product is for dads to be able to help mums who are struggling to breastfeed their newborns.
Still in the conception stage, the kit is yet to be tested, but contains a cocktail of hormones that the man would take while his partner is pregnant, in order to "grow milk ducts".
The main hormone is progestin, a form of the female sex hormone progesterone, which helps to stimulate production of milk-producing glands.
This would be followed by a round of domperidone which is often given to mums who are experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding as it encourages the production of prolactin, a hormone which tells the woman's body to produce milk.
However there is one major possible side effect to taking the female hormones.
Which is that the man could grow 'moobs' or man boobs, up to a b cup until they stop taking the hormones.
As well as the different hormones, the chestfeeding kit also contains a pump and a compression vest, which is very similar to a maternity bra.
Marie-Claire hopes her idea will help to stop fathers from feeling left out when raising their baby and believes the kit could be available in five years time.
But its possible that the product may never see the light of day, as doctors have urged caution and warned that there's no proof men can even grow milk ducts.

They're also not sure what impact the hormones will have on the male body and instead suggested other ways men could feel more included in the first few month of a baby's life, such as changing them and helping with bath time.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the 24-year-old student said: "I was trying to create an empathy tool, something that could really help when a mum was struggling to breastfeed and could help a dad be of practical use.
"Those two drugs put together create three of the four hormones necessary for a man to produce milk.
"The last one is oxytocin which is what triggers the 'let down reflex' and that's naturally produced when a man or a woman holds their child."
She went on to explain how she developed the pump to assist the 'let down reflex' and added that she believes it will take a full nine months for a man to prepare his breast tissue for breastfeeding.
Her design for the kit recently won an award at the Meaning-Centred Design Awards.
However in order to make the product available for purchase, it would need to be rigorously tested as it is not known how much milk a man could produce, or if it would even be nutritious for the baby.

Wale Ojo Lanre Inside the Study Room of Late President Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Cote DÍvoire

Wale Ojo Lanre Inside the Study Room of Late President Félix Houphouët-Boigny of Cote DÍvoire
(French pronunciation: [feliks ufwɛt bwaɲi] or [feliks ufwɛ bwaɲi];[1][2] 18 October 1905 – 7 December 1993), affectionately called Papa Houphouët or Le Vieux (The Old One), was the first President of Côte d'Ivoire (1960 to 1993), serving for more than three decades until his death. A tribal chief, he worked as a medical aide, union leader, and planter before being elected to the French Parliament. He served in several ministerial positions within the French government before leading Côte d'Ivoire following independence in 1960. Throughout his life, he played a significant role in politics and the decolonization of Africa.
Under Houphouët-Boigny's politically moderate leadership, Côte d'Ivoire prospered economically. This success, uncommon in poverty-ridden West Africa, became known as the "Ivorian miracle" and was due to a combination of sound planning, the maintenance of strong ties with the West (particularly France), and development of the country's significant coffee and cocoa industries. However, the exploitation of the agricultural sector caused difficulties in 1980, after a sharp drop in the prices of coffee and cocoa.
Throughout his presidency, Houphouët-Boigny maintained a close relationship with France, a policy known as Françafrique, and he built a close friendship with Jacques Foccart, the chief adviser on African policy in the de Gaulle and Pompidou governments. He aided the conspirators who ousted Kwame Nkrumah from power in 1966, took part in the coup against Mathieu Kérékou in 1977, and was suspected of involvement in the 1987 coup that removed Thomas Sankara from power in Burkina Faso. Houphouët-Boigny maintained a strong anti-communist foreign policy, which resulted in, among other things, severing diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union in 1969 (after first establishing relations in 1967) and refusing to recognise the People's Republic of China until 1983. He provided assistance to UNITA, a United States-supported, anti-communist rebel movement in Angola. In 1986 he re-established relations with the Soviet Union, shortly before the fall of its confederation.
In the West, Houphouët-Boigny was commonly known as the "Sage of Africa" or the "Grand Old Man of Africa". Houphouët-Boigny moved the country's capital from Abidjan to his hometown of Yamoussoukro and built the world's largest church there, the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro, at a cost of US$300 million. At the time of his death, he was the longest-serving leader in Africa's history and the third longest-serving leader in the world, after Fidel Castro of Cuba and Kim Il-sung of North Korea. In 1989, UNESCO created the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Peace Prize for the "safeguarding, maintaining and seeking of peace". After his death, conditions in Côte d'Ivoire quickly deteriorated. From 1994 until 2002, there were a number of coups d'état, a currency devaluation, an economic recession, and, beginning in 2002, a civil war.
