The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission Chief Ranti Adebisi who made this known in Ado Ekiti, explained that the promotion arrears was for January and July 2011 having cleared the 2010
outstanding early this year.
Noting that the entire delay was caused by the previous administration, Adebisi reiterated the resolve of the present administration to ensuring that workers are promoted as and when due.
He also lauded the conduct of workers in the on-going promotion exercise in spite of their initial apprehension, Chief Adebisi noted that the promoted workers went through an examination and oral interview after duly submitting their APER forms.
