I’m committed to repositioning Oyo - Ajimobi



The Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi has assured the people of the state that his administration will not relent in its effort at repositioning the state in all ramifications for the benefit of the people.
He gave the assurance while receiving the management team of the Bank of Industry led by the Managing Director, Ms. Evelyn Oputu in his office at the weekend.
Governor Ajimobi  according to a release signed by his special Adviser on media,  Dr Festus Adedayo, said that government would require the continued support of the bank, particularly in the areas of agriculture and infrastructural development, towards the rapid socio-economic development of the state.
He commended the management of the bank for being supportive and dependable in the funding of small and medium scale industries in the state, a development which he said had greatly enhanced the economic life of the people.
Earlier in her remarks, the Managing Director of the bank had said the bank was impressed by Governor Ajimobi’s commitment towards repositioning the state.
She also expressed her bank’s readiness to further support the state government in its effort at improving the economy of the state and the well-being of the people through agriculture and industrialization.
Ms. Oputu explained that the visit to the governor was to review and consolidate on the existing relationship between the bank and the state government.
