All his years on Earth has been devoted to personal development and community service
Fatai Bhuari is a hard working , sensible , reasonable and a honest businessman who is trust worthy , reliable , dependable and sincere in what he determined to do .
He is one of the few serious minded fellos in politics for what they can do for the community and not what the community can do .
His tenure as member of the House of Representatives spelled boom and glow era for his people in Ogbomosho .
He is a muslim who never discriminates when it comes to allocation of benefits and goodies as CAN in Ogbomosho was the first benefactor of his programme when he was in the House
His days on earth have been purely service oriented
I have a feel of his generosity when I was the Chairman of Oyo State NUJ in 2005.
Fatai Buhari was one of the several guests we invited for enlightnment programme called HOTSPOT .
At the end of the day he asked what he can do for us .
I told him I don't want him to give us money .
He asked whether the NUJ had an official car
I said no .
This man who is adding another year on earth said
"chairman , within the next 15 days , I will deliver to you a brand new Peageot 306 ."
i did not believe him.
Why ? Many of them have promised heaven and earth and we never deem it fit to redeem their promises.
And lo and behold
On the 10th day , one of his aides , may his soul rest in peace , drove a brand new Peageot 306 into the Press Centre , Iyaganku Ibadan , Oyo State
Against his sterling warning I had to inscribe his name on the car .
He is one politician in Oyo state who has not enmeshed his name in any controversy .
