As Ekiti state prepares for gubernatorial election in 2014, Accord party flag bearer Barrister Kole Ajayi
has express optimism in his party winning the election as he said the people of
Ekiti state are have tested and tired of both ACN and PDP government in the state
Barrister Ajayi while
speaking with Alarinka in Usi- Ekiti at
the weekend said, the people of Ekiti
have realize the inability of both the
past administration of PDP and the incumbent of ACN’s inability to deliver the
real dividend of Democracy for the people of the state
According to him,
Ekiti people have tasted and realised that the both the past and present
administration in the state are not up to the task of taking Ekiti to the
deserving height especially in the area of economic development
which is the general thing that cut across the every ages in the society
He added that, Accord party is the only alternative that can
effectively deliver the people of Ekiti state from the hands of opressors and
economic gridlock which has bedevilled the state since the beginning of fourth republic.
The Law graduate of University of Ado Ekiti said “ Ekiti
state is in this quagmire because we allowed foreign politicians to dictate and dominate
our political system, we have no home
grown person that has ever govern this
state and that is why there is little or no meaningful
development since 1999 basically because they don’t know where the shoe pinches”.
“ our people deserve qualitative education, good health
facilities, roads, and safe environments where they can sleep with their two
eyes closed and all this are our focus and plan for the people of Ekiti state,
again we have realised that this state is an agro- based economy we, are going
to enhance participation in farming by our youths so as to reduce the high rate
of unemployment and create more jobs
Speaking in the
registration of APC, Mr Kole Ajayi said , APC is not a threat to the chance of
Accord Party in Ekiti, we are not afraid of the new
party because some of the merging political party that make them look stronger
are not in Ekiti. “ APC cannot stop us in Ekiti, it is only ACN that is
existing in this state and people are not interested in their government any
longer .
