Frontiers, a socio political organization in
Oyo town has described the
statement credited to an Accord Party
chieftain in Oyo Chief Bisi Ilaka on Senator Ayoade Adeseun , Senator Representing
Oyo Central senatorial district in some national dailies as a mere vituperation of a political looser who is
disconnected from reality.
The group in a communiqué
issued at the end of meeting in Oyo on Tuesday
which was jointly signed by the
president ,Dr Abdulganiyu Yusuff and
Comrade Ayinla Kolawole faulted
the statements and urge the Accord
party chieftains to reconnect with his constituencies so as to know the development brought by Senator Adeseun rather than
wrongly castigating him on the pages of newspaper.
The group said further that Senator Adeseun has not only given credible and commendable
representations to the district since elected but has also contributed to the development of the Senatorial district through various
developmental project such as
provision of boreholes for
various communities, construction of classrooms, provision of solar powered
light and establishment of skill acquisition centres in some part of the
district .
They added that Senator
Adeseun has through his masses oriented bill earn himself one of the
performing senator in Nigeria as he
has sponsored more than Seventeen bills
five of which are targeted towards
alleviating the suffering of the masses
in Nigeria.
While querring
chief Ilaka’s desperation to serve the people of the district the asked “Mr Ilaka has convincingly identified himself as a self seeking and desperate
politician having lost election twice as a failed chairmanship candidate
in Mushin Local government in the UNCP
Abacha era and thrice as aspirant for the senatorial seat which show
that he has no political clout and structure”
Adding that his “
inordinate ambition to assume public
position via whatever means is
demonstrated in his unyielding and
fruitfulness movement from PDP to
ACN and Accord Party with nothing concrete to show for his constituent disloyalty
and now he is perfecting plan to jump ship to another party to satisfy
2015 personal desires”.
The group while
pledging their unflinching support for Senator Adeseun also informed that the
entire citizen of Oyo acknowledge
and appreciate the quality representations being offered by Senator Adeseun
which is unequaled and unprecedented in
the political annals of Oyo central Senatorial district.
