Governor Olusegun Mimiko yesterday sad the late father of his Lagos State counterpart, Pa Ademola Fashola, lived well and left worthy successors.

Mimiko who led a team of Ondo State Government functionaries on a condolence visit to the Lagos State Government House in Marina said the late father of Governor Raji Fashola lived a life worthy of
emulation as his toils, life and earthly sojourn produced children who are making their marks in life.

“The common prayer in Yoruba is that we leave behind worthy children after a life well lived. That prayer has found practical fulfilment in the live and time of the departed Pa Fashola. Not only has he left
worthy children, he has also through an obvious liberal approach to religion left lessons of tolerance and neighbourliness for us all,” Mimiko said in an interview after signing the condolence register.

He had before then conveyed the condolence of the government and people of Ondo State to the Fasholas and joined them in celebrating the departure of their loved one.
