Guild of Tourism Journalists GTJ in Nigeria has congratulated the trio of Wale ojo Lanre, Editor, Tribune and the President of the Association, Dr Kayode Fayemi, The Governor of Ekiti State and his Osun State counterpart, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on the honour conferred on them by the Odua Progressive Union in Amsterdam
The Association in a release signed by Mr Tayo Adelaja stated that the recipients deserved the honor as they have all contributed immensely to the growth and development of tourism in Nigeria.
The Association noted that " the duo of Governor Fayemi and Aregbesola has been able to make an indelible impact in the tourism sector in their domain with the transformation of Ikogosi ( Ekiti) which was moribund to a world class tourism site and Eluminrin Waterfall, Erin Ijesha ( Osun) as well as other tourism sites in their states,. They added that the improvement on the infrastructural facilities in the two states also enhances tourism development.
While commending Comrade Wale Ojo Lanre the group said " Our President has been an advocate of tourism development in the world, his passion, commitment and hardwork has no doubt fetch him many honours both at home and in the diaspora. This honor is an addition that his good work is been appreciated not only in Nigeria but outside the country.
