IGNORE ASARI DOKUBO’S THREAT- COUNCIL CHAIRMEN





Council Chairmen in Oyo  State have called on  Nigerians  to consider  serious a statement credited to Asari Dokuko  leader of Militia group in the  Niger Delta describing it as an empty threat which hold no water

 Asari Dokubo has  recently threatened that Nigeria will be history if he was arrested by the security operatives due to statement credited to him in an interview in the media

 The Council Chairmen including the Oyo state ALGON chairman Mr Yekeen  Popoola, in a separate interview with journalists in Ibadan  said  though Dokubo’s statements in inflammatory but people should ignore him because he is only seeking for attention and wasting his time 

Mr Popoola said further that 2015 is far beyond what anybody or ethnic nationalities or individual can determine, Nigerian will determine whether Jonathan should continue  or leave office, just like they did when he contested in 2011

 The  duo of  Hon Bola Olawoore of Ibarapa Central, and  Hon Yunus Olaosegba of Ibarapa East   however urge Asari  Dokubo and other group threatening the existence of Nigeria  that rather than  making inflammatory statements  they should  seek means of selling President Jonathan’s Image to Nigeria and  make move to ensure his success in government.
 They also urged the security operatives in the country not to spare anyone culpable of making inflammatory statement and ensure that Nigeria Unity is not threaten
 They all commended the state governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi for rebuilding the infrastructures in the state and restoring peace, adding that  they will not relent in complementing his administration’s  effort in  taking  oyo state to a greater height
