Male thief caught praying with women in mosque
Women packing a mosque in a tiny Saudi town for prayers became nervous as female instinct apparently told them one of the worshippers was a man, the Saudi Arabic language daily Al Riyadh said on Sunday.
The women kept suspiciously eying the dubious figure disguised in a traditional female dress as they continued their prayers at the mosque in Al Rass town north of the Capital Alriyadh, the paper said.
“They suspected he was a man from the way he was moving and kneeling for prayers….when they left the mosque, they became certain he was a man after they saw his shoes,” Al Riyadh said.
“They yelled for help…several men ran after him and overpowered him…when they stripped off his gown, he was a boy not exceeding 17 years old…he had a cleaver with him and sneaked into the mosque to steal the women bags.”
