The National leader of the Accord Party Sen Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja has debunked the insinuation that he has endorsed a particular candidate for the next year governorship election in the state saying that he will contest in 2015
Sen Ladoja who a former governor of the state said he has not endorsed any candidate because he is also interested in the post will soon obtain expression of interest form when the time comes
The Ibadan born politician in an interactive session with journalists at his residence maintained that Accord Party will win gubernatorial seat in the next election because of the antecedent and past records which speaks well of the party
According to him” only God is helping us in accord as we have nothing new to tell people but our past records are speaking for us you can imagine when civil servant who did not get their salary lamenting that this was not so during the era of Ladoja, during our time we did not demolish shops without building another one neither do we neglects people urgent need leaving it for more than three years before getting serious about it as in the case of Apete brige“
While speaking on the present political situation in the country, Sen Ladoja said it was the ACN now APC that wakes up the PDP from their slumber “ the only things the PDP use to say is that they will rule the country for 60 years but by the time they realize that the APC is taking over the house of reps after they have captured some state they wake up and started what they are doing now but it may be difficult for them to have Oyo state because there is no formidable structure that will win elections like that of Ekiti.
“ Fayose was able to get party ticket and win election in Ekiti because he was in charge of the party executives, Omisore was in charge of the party executives in Osun and who is in charge of the executive in Oyo so whatever happens in Osun will not happen in Oyo state because Accord party will be in control by 2015
