Ondo sign Mou With Ethiopia Airline

The Permanent Secretary , Ondo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism , Mrs Modupe Akinroye exchanging documents with Solomon Yadeta , General Manager , Ethiopian Airlines while Ambassador Wanle Akinboboye , SA to Governor Mimiko on Culture and Tourism applauds 
As part of efforts of promoting cultural exchange and exposing the youth of Ondo state to  international experience, Ondo state Ministry of Culture and Tourism  has signed   a memorandum of Understanding with Ethiopia airline  one of the leading airline operators in  Africa
 Other benefit embedded in the MoU includes training in aviation industry and other programmes that will enhance youth  development in the state  and with this more than 500 will benefits from the  scheme in the next few years
 Signing the  Mou at the Conference hall  at the Ministry of Culture anbd Tourism , the Special Adviser  to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Culture and Tourism  Otunba Wanle Akinboboye said “ the state is entering into an agreement with Ethiopia airline to tied the brotherhood  cord among the Africa nations  especially at this moment when we need to look inward into what we have an annexe it for  the  growth of African at large.
 Dr Akinboboye said further that “Ondo youth and students will be taken to Ethiopia for few weeks to learn from their culture, tradition, language and many things in the aviation industry  and  the Ethiopians will in return come to  Ondo state to learn  one or two things from the  country too
 In his response the  General Manager of  Ethiopia Airline in Nigeria, Mr Solomon Yadeta  said the  company will ensure that the agreement is followed to letters and at the same time assist  Ondo state in promoting the tourism potentials  to the world . “ this is my first time in two years in Nigeria of travelling outside  of Lagos by road and i am impressed with what i have seen in Ondo  state,  this step is  in good direction and we shall do everything to make sure it works there  are a lot to learn from each other “.

 The signing was witnessed by  some of the top civil servant including  the permanent secretary of the Ministry  Dr. Modupe Akenroye, and all the directors from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the state.
