Andrew Bloomfield, 27, and new bride Ruth Driskill, 37, were being driven to their reception when the horror smash occurred. Andrew's friend Elizabeth Shelton, 26, was killed in the smash, in Wyandot County, northern Ohio, while Andrew died later in hospital. Ruth and driver Timothy Tebbe were left critically injured.
