Swedish Government allocated additional $16 million to curb the spread of Ebola disease in West Africa. The fund will primarily be given to UN bodies (UNICEF, WHO and WFR) according to Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) in a joint effort to fight the epidemic.
This will translate to a total of $22 million that has been contributed by the Swedish Government to stop the spread of the Ebola disease that has killed over 3400 people most especially in West Africa countries and has recorded its first victim in United State of America today.
Part of the contribution will go to supporting Ebola healthcare staff clinics. Helping people and stopping the spread of the virus depends on ensuring the healthcare staff can work in an efficient manner.
